Self help groups of persons affected by disabilities related to leprosy in Uganda

This article will describe the experiences of the social economic rehabilitation program stratey of Persons Affected by Leprosy (PAL). The experiences of the self-help groups of PAL will cover the area of identification and assessment, prevention of disabilities, awareness raising, promotion of an integrated approach, collaboration and capacity building, in the context of the current political situation in Uganda.
