Psychosocial aspects of female Leprosy patients

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to high light the Psychosocial problems in the Rehabilitation of Leprosy patients. Yesterday when leprosy patients had no hope for cure they were resigned to an isolated existence with little or no contact with the society. Since the development of effective drugs for the treatment of Leprosy, patients who are medically cured must then be returned to the society, giving rise to the concept of rehabilitation. The study is primarily focused on psychosocial situation of Leprosy patient prevailing in Pakistan, despite the fact that their socio-economic characteristics are not too different from their own social class.
