PROPOSAL FOR EDUCATIONAL INTERVENTION FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF SURVEILLANCE, PREVENTION AND CONTROL ACTIONS FOR HANSENIASIS IN UBS FLOR DO FIELD.

The municipality of Barras, now known as the “Land of Governors” is located in the center of six river and stream bars, giving rise to its toponym. The Family Health Strategy aims at reorganizing primary care and professional practice in an attempt to operationalize a techno-care model based on SUS principles for service improvement. Leprosy in biblical times is called chronic leprosy. It is a chronic infectious disease transmitted from person to person through long-term intimate contact. Epidemiologically leprosy represents a high power of disability, constitutes a serious public health problem. The objective of this project is to elaborate and apply an educational intervention proposal to improve leprosy surveillance, prevention and control actions at UBS Flower of the Field. It is hoped that after the implementation of the actions of this intervention project it will be possible to evaluate quantitatively and qualitatively: the contribution of strengthening surveillance actions in the prevention and control of leprosy, the development of primary care, and the quality of the services offered. will be a consequence of the improvement of leprosy prevention and control actions, as well as the improvement of the health of the UBS Flower of the Field.
