Abstract

Translated Abstract

The current article aims to present the process of creating and implementing the digitalisation of Monitoring Bulletins in the Sanitary District VII, in the city of Recife/PE, to provide faster access to information in care and management of the Hansen’s disease and tuberculosis policies, as well as the care of people affected by diseases in the territory. It is known that both tuberculosis and Hansen’s are diseases included in the National List of Compulsory Notification of Diseases, Affliction and Public Health Events to be reported to the Notifiable Diseases Information System (SINAN), through the Monitoring Bulletins, which allow the observation of cases. However, the concrete reality does not allow this monitoring to occur as recommended by official documents, for several reasons, which justifies the importance of this work. Therefore, the methodology adopted in the development of this experience involved the reproduction, in digital format, of the original Monitoring Bulletin of Hansen’s and tuberculosis cases, as well as meetings and matrix support for professionals referred by the pilot health centres. In this sense, improvements are expected in relation to the response time of the teams of the health centres and the adequate completion of the document, within the period agreed with the management
