Abstract

Translated Abstract

Objective: to describe the scientific production addressing the impacts on the surveillance of Neglected Tropical Diseases during the Covid-19 pandemic. Method: This is an integrative review guided by the question: "What are the impacts on the surveillance of Neglected Tropical Diseases during the Covid-19 pandemic?". The search was conducted using the descriptors Neglected Diseases; Surveillance and Covid-19, in Portuguese and English, in the databases Web of Science; Pubmed and the Virtual Health Library (Medline and Lilacs) between the years 2020 and 2022. Results: Sixteen articles classified into two thematic axes were selected: (i) prevention and control and (ii) treatment and rehabilitation. Conclusion: there were several impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on the surveillance of neglected tropical diseases that may hinder the achievement of the goals set for 2030. Therefore, it is suggested that further studies be conducted, especially in Brazil, to address this repercussion so that the containment measures can be strengthened.
