Lessons from the Disability Knowledge and Research Programme

Abstract
This publication summarises the findings and broader "lessons learned" from the second phase of the Disability KaR Programme (2003-2005), mangaged by the Overseas Development group at the University of East Anglia and Healthlink Worldwide. This phase of the Programme developed a strong focus on manstreaming disability in development, saw partnerships grow between organisations in developed and developing countries, and saw disabled people taking a lead in research.
