Early reduction of glycated hemoglobin in patients undergoing treatment for leprosy

This study reports a case of 45-year-old male with dramatically reduced glycated hemoglobin level during the treatment of leprosy with a Paucibacillary regimen. Literature search shows the impact of Dapsone on glycated hemoglobin values. Such reports are rare, this appears to be second reported case from India, where reduced values were seen with Dapsone usage in leprosy.
