		Differential Diagnoses of the Neurological Manifestations of Hansen’s Disease
Abstract
        Hansen’s disease courses with peripheral neuropathy and several forms of presentation such as primary neural and involvements in the form of mononeuropathies and polyneuropathies. Hereditary diseases, heavy metal poisoning, some infectious diseases and collagenoses can course with neurological changes like Hansen’s disease. Therefore, knowing the clinical picture of the diseases that make differential diagnosis of these peripheral neuropathies in leprosy is extremely important, and sometimes an interconsultation with a neurological specialist will be necessary.
