Diagnostic Imaging in Hansen’s Disease: Conventional Radiography, Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, and Dual-Energy X-Ray Absorptiometry
Abstract
Diagnostic imaging plays an important role in the evaluation of Hansen’s disease-related abnormalities in multiple organs, including conventional radiography, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry. Comprehensive knowledge of the imaging characteristics of these abnormalities can guide a tailored imaging approach, enable appropriate diagnosis, and improve patient care.
