Successful Launch of the Leprosy Case Detection Campaign (LCDC)
As per the guidelines of the State Government, the Leprosy Case Detection Campaign (LCDC) will be conducted across the state from 17 November 2025 to 2 December 2025, covering a period of 14 days. A total population of 5.25 lakh will be screened through 250 dedicated teams.
The campaign in the Pune Municipal Corporation limits was inaugurated today at Late Draupadabai Murlidhar Khedekar Maternity Hospital, with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony performed by Dr. Nina Borade, Chief Health Officer.
The event was attended by Dr. Prashant Bothe (City Tuberculosis Officer), Medical Officers Dr. Swati Kamble, Dr. Manoj Bagde, Dr. GUNESH Bagde, Dr. Kiran Solanke, Dr. Shweta Dhakane, along with Health Workers (Male/Female), ANMs, LHVs, ASHA Volunteers, NLEP Teams, TB Unit, staff of Khedekar Hospital, and local residents.
