Punjab targets leprosy elimination by 2027 as only 8 districts achieve interruption of transmission status

Chandigarh: While Punjab set an ambitious goal of interrupting leprosy transmission at the district level by 2027, only 8 of its 23 districts so far achieved interruption of transmission status, highlighting both the progress made and the distance still to be covered.
