Left in neglect, leprosy center turns haven for anti-social activities

Trichy: A banner placed in front of the deputy director of medical services (Leprosy) office, opposite Central bus stand, displays Mahatma Gandhi and his message on eradicating the infectious disease. But it can barely cover up the decay and neglect writ large on the office building and its premises — far from what one would expect of a health centre catering to hundreds of patients.
