Kano to enrol 6,000 TB, leprosy patients into healthcare scheme

The Kano State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency has announced plans to enrol 6,000 vulnerable persons living with tuberculosis and leprosy into the Kano State Contributory Healthcare Scheme to expand access to affordable healthcare services across the state.

The agency disclosed this in a statement issued on Tuesday by its Public Relations Officer, Aminu Turaki.

According to the statement, the Executive Secretary of KSCHMA, Rahila Muktar, made the announcement while addressing the 44 Local Government Area tuberculosis and leprosy supervisors during a strategic engagement at Ni’ima Guest Palace in Kano.
