Leprosy is an infectious disease that represents a serious global public health problem and affects mainly the most vulnerable population, and can cause irreversible sequelae. Palmas, capital of Tocantins, is hyperendemic for this disease. Thus, this work carried out an exploratory analysis in the database of leprosy notifications in the municipality, from 2001 to 2020, through the SINAN system, after authorization by the ethics committee. An online tool was developed for graphic visualization of the main indicators of the disease and geoprocessed maps containing notifications in the municipality. The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on new case notifications was analyzed through the creation of a predictive model of time series analysis with the ARIMA method, identifying an underreporting of 177% of cases from April to December 2020. The project's objectives were achieved and the results will be transferred to assist municipal management in controlling the disease, through a cooperation agreement signed between the Federal University of Tocantins and the Health Department of the Municipality of Palmas.
