Leprosy is one of the communicable diseases that pose a very complex problem due physical disability caused. The problem is not only of medical but extends to sosial, economic, cultural, and national defense. This research uses the analytic survey using cross sectional approach, where the goal is to determine the factors associated with the incidence of disability in leprosy patients in the Puskesmas Kalumat Ternate City. The sample size of 50 respondents in this study are in accordance with the inclusion criteria. Data was collected by means of observation and distribution of questionnaires to the respondents. In this study using the chi-square test with correction fisher'exact test at significance level α = 0.05. Based on the results, the relationship to the behavior of physical disability (p = 0.003), the socio-economic relations to physical disability (p = 0.000), and their relationship to self-care disability (p = 0.002). The conclusion of this research is the relationship behaviors, socioeconomic, and self-care to the physically disabled. Suggestions in improving patient adherence to treatment should always give health education about the concept and management of leprosy.
