N1 - Stigma Research and Action is a peer reviewed open access journal that provides a multi-disciplinary, international forum for the presentation of scholarly research pertaining to prejudice and discrimination that is caused by health conditions, disabilities, or membership in marginalized social or cultural groups.
We view the field as large and deep, and will publish new interdisciplinary knowledge ranging from the social and cultural aspects of stigma to personal and neurobiological factors. Stigma Research and Action takes a leadership role in the publication of stigma research, acting as a vehicle for reporting the work of leading researchers and organizations worldwide.
