AB - <p>Hydnocarpus oil alone and mixed with dapsone in food and fed to the mice infected with Mycobacterium leprae; showed inhibition of the growth of the lepra bacilli, both sensitive and resistant to dapsone. There was an additive inhibitory effect of the combination of dapsone and oil on the growth of bacilli.</p>
