Objective: To describe the clinical incidence of leprosy through the DataSUS database, in the municipality of Ananindeua, in the period 2014-2017. Methodology: This is a cross-sectional study that had as its scenario the municipality of Ananindeua, located in the State of Pará. They were obtained through the database of the computerized system of leprosy notifications data the Municipal Health Department and DataSUS covering the period between 2014-2017, where the incidence of the disease in the indeterminate forms was analyzed. Due to the insufficient number of cases reported in the indeterminate form (paucibacillo), this clinical form was not included in the study because it did not interfere with the results and e analysis. Results and discussion: 329 new cases of leprosy were reported from residents of the municipality of Ananindeua. There was a higher incidence for males, both in the total number of reported cases and in their clinical form, both in the total number of reported cases and in their clinical form, 181 (55%) cases registered for males and 148 (45%) cases for females. It is observed that most of the records were multibacillary, in pointing to late diagnoses especially in male members who presented the highest data. Conclusion: Based on the data, it is observed that detection rates between men and women need different strategies in the clinical panorama of leprosy in the municipality.
