These lesions, which were partly filled with pus rapidly developed into erosions and ulcerations with hemorrhagic crusts. Other observations at time of admission included a tender erythematous plaque on his forehead, a drop foot on the right leg, muscle atrophy in both hands, a low grade fever, and pain and swelling in his right lower jaw.
