Inflammatory polyarthralgia and sensory and motor loss in the median and ulnar territories, without skin lesions, suggested vasculitis. A few weeks later, inflammatory skin lesions developed leading to the diagnosis of biopsy proven leprosy. Leprosy should be considered as a possible diagnosis in patients with multineuritis, especially when associated with rheumatic or cutaneous manifestations. Early skin biopsy in neuritic leprosy is discussed.</p>  a0035-3787
