This exploratory study with a qualitative approach. To obtain the information we carried out a pilot interview to assess prior knowledge of the students were later conducted workshops on leprosy, focusing on aspects of health education. After completion of the workshops, a questionnaire was semi-structured, addressing the same issues initially applied instrument, analyzing the results of the workshops in addition and modification of knowledge about leprosy. Themes were outlined: the characteristics of leprosy and their transmission, the importance of health education about leprosy.
