Patients in one of the three groups were suffering from lepromatous leprosy, the second group comprised patients with tuberculoid leprosy and the third group consisted of normal controls. The results obtained revealed changes in the mineral content of the scalp hair of those suffering from lepromatous leprosy and tuberculoid leprosy.
