  abstract = {The present study deals with the application of an intervention project related to non adherence to the treatment of leprosy and aims to reduce the number of treatment dropouts and increase the level of adherence of patients to the treatment of leprosy. It will be carried out the data collection of the leprosy cases reported in the municipality, as well as the treatment abandonment, followed by the intervention with the following action proposals: publicity and informative campaigns, monthly lectures in the public and private networks of the municipality, besides training of the ACS's. The aim of the project is to increase prevention and control of the disease and improve the process of information, identification and treatment of leprosy patients through the intensification of health education actions in primary care.},
