  abstract = {<p>This study was undertaken in two adjacent districts (Rautahat and Parsa) in Nepal to measure the impact of training of basic health workers on Leprosy Control Programme. Knowledge, attitude and leprosy service delivery by them were studied before and after training. There was an improvement in all the three components after training. However, improvement was also seen in the control group as well. Possible reasons for this are discussed. Improper selection of the area and an inadequate methodology were the identified drawbacks of the study.</p>},
