  abstract = {<p>Ten lepers with the lepromin-negative lepromatous form and ten lepers with the lepromin-positive tuberculoid form who underwent the leukocyte migration inhibition test were studied. A market impairment of cell-mediated immunity in the lepromatous group as well as significative differences of the  average inhibition rates between both groups of patients were found. Results from this in vitro test were correlated to those from the lepromin skin test and a correspondence in 18 out of the 20 patients studied was obtained.</p>},
